Overview

This key, multi-brand sales position is responsible for managing and supporting the daily analytical, tactical, and operational execution related to our College Lease business. The position works closely with and supports Sales Management and Lease Key Account Manager(s), including direct collaboration with GFS cross -functional departments (Brand, Art, C/S, Planning, etc.) and Lease Buying/Planning teams. The individual must develop a comprehensive customer understanding, including strong, direct working relationships with key Customer team members. This position is responsible for managing all areas of the day to day business including, but not limited to building seasonal product lines/graphic pages, reporting, POS reports, pricing/policy guides, assortment planning, coordinating customer visits, Hot Market coordination and daily/weekly order maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the project management and communication link between the customer and the GFS internal team, including all GFS cross - functional departments and relevant team members.
  • Responsible for developing, socializing, implementing, and executing an annual customer timing & action calendar that supports the key business needs of both GFS and our lease accounts.
  • Lead weekly or bi-weekly internal project calendar review with GFS Sales Management team.
  • Assist in the planning and preparation related to seasonal product reviews, customer business reviews, and account specific business meetings.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive, fluid sales action plans focused on achieving quarterly and annual sales and profit goals.
  • Support and develop a strong working relationship with the Campus Sales Representatives and customer base.
  • Assist/Participate in the planning and execution of sales meetings and trade shows.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with the Customer Buying and Planning team members.
  • Work with Customer Buying and Planning teams to create seasonal graphic pages and ongoing, customized sketch packs.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (BA, BS ) or 6+ years of business / analytic experience in lieu of degree
  • 3-5 years of sales support, sales analytics, or related experience
  • Strong understanding of retail math and metrics
  • Demonstrates effectiveness in organization and management of multiple projects
  • Exhibits leadership and management skills, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Team and partnership understanding and mentality
