What You Will Be Doing This position is responsible for closing the general ledger, managing the consolidation and reporting process, and ensuring accounting practices and controls are aligned with GAAP.
What You Need for this Position Responsibilities:

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and supporting reporting packages (KPIs).
- Working in a cross-functional manner with Shared Services, Regional Finance Directors, Tax, and Finance Planning & Analysis to ensure the integrity of financial information, resolve accounting issues and provide financial/accounting advice.
- Manage the global general ledger including rising to an expert user of Oracle for general ledger, consolidation, and reporting functions
- Lead implementation efforts on new accounting standards (e.g., leases)
- Drive completion of the global month-end close process by anticipating issues that will arise to ensure the close cycle is not delayed.
- Monitor and manage account reconciliations are completed within a timely manner
- Review and ensure forecast and month-end results for adjustments for business units

Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance with CPA
- 5+ years of combined financial reporting experience for a global manufacturer with experience in public accounting
- Experience in international accounting
- Oracle, Excel, MS Office
