Warehouse Shipping & Receiving

OBJECTIVE: Assist warehouse management in all areas ofthe warehouse.

In addition to the essential job functions describedbelow, all associates will perform duties as requested by branch management.Assigned responsibilities and duties may vary based upon location size andoperations.

Picking/Shipping

Pull orders for shipment

Place the material in the staging area; return the ticketto the supervisor

Separate material to shipping points

Load outgoing shipment onto trucks

Receiving

Receive all incoming materials

Unload incoming shipments from trucks

Verify and complete the delivery receipt. Note damaged orshortage on delivery receipt and have driver initial

Complete all receiving paperwork

Stock and stage received materials

Other

Keep the receiving and shipping areas organized

Organize pallets and other support materials in a safemanner

Communicate warehouse concerns to supervisor

Correct any system file maintenance issues as they occur

Assist the driver with deliveries as needed (if driving aCommercial Driver's License must be obtained)

Compliance with company uniform policy

Represent the company in a professional manner at alltimes ensuring customer loyalty

Abide by all policies, rules, and regulations of thecompany including all applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures

Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of thecompany

Work overtime as needed

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Lifting 20 pound objects constantly; 50 pound objectsfrequently; and 100 pound objects occasionally is required

Stooping, crouching and kneeling
