Basic Job Functions:
The Warehouse Counter Person will promote and enhance Safety Excellence as Nucor Utah's #1 value. The primary role of the Warehouse Counter Person is to distribute and track all consumable and spare parts to the team as needed. Additional responsibilities include keeping inventory by physical count, data entry, operating a mobile forklift and pendant control overhead crane. The Warehouse Counter Person is expected to demonstrate leadership through the Maintenance Strategy:

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be willing to cover shifts, be called in on short notice, and work overtime as required/needed
- Must cross train and show proficiency in all areas of the warehouse to fill in as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with inventory control/management systems
- Forklift and/or crane operating experience
