The AstraZeneca Mt. Vernon site was established in 1972 and is the flagship site delivering innovative, life changing oral solid medicines. At the site we formulate and pack OSD tablets and capsules for over 60+ markets. The Mt Vernon site is complex, the largest AZ production site in the US with over 700+ employees. We are located in the southwest corner of the state of Indiana, approximately 15 miles from Evansville, Indiana - the third largest city in the state. The Mt. Introduction to Role:
Join our dynamic Operations team as a Warehouse Distribution Assistant, where you will play a pivotal role in receiving, storing, and distributing raw materials, bulk products, and packaging components/supplies. This is an exciting opportunity to break new ground and leave a collective legacy in the evolving landscape of Supply Chain at AstraZeneca.

Accountabilities:
As a Warehouse Distribution Assistant, you will be responsible for unloading raw materials and packaging supplies from carriers' units, inspecting shipments for discrepancies, and sorting materials by vendor lot. You will also fill requisitions for materials from stock released by the laboratory and inspection departments, deliver these materials to their proper destination, and complete necessary documentation for computer data entry. Additionally, you will take periodic physical counts of the stock and act as the first decision maker, resolving technical issues through trouble-shooting and using existing knowledge and experience.

Essential Skills/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 0-3 years of relevant experience
- Basic computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office applications and SAP is desirable
- Experience in a cGMP environment is desirable
- Strong math skills and attention to detail
- Must be able to handle 250 lb drums from one pallet to another and unload floor loaded trailers routinely, lifting 40 lbs from overhead to floor

Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Experience with AstraZeneca products
- Knowledge of SAP and MS Office Suite
- Knowledge of DEA regulations beneficial
- Experience in a production environment and Warehouse management experience is highly desirable
