Presently, MAG is seeking the following position:

Warehouse Coordinator

Summary

This defines the methods and responsibilities of a Warehouse Coordinator performing the duties of Shipping, Receiving, Inventory Control and Material Verification. Personnel will be engaged in lifting, transporting, storing, loading and un-loading materials and products by the use of cranes or heavy industrial trucks by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Other duties may be assigned.

Receiving incoming material; verify material and quantities from the Supplier packing lists, Purchase Orders and Customs documents (when applicable) agree with the material in the package.

Files all records such as; Shippers, Delivery Notes, Goods Receipt Slip, Supplier packing lists and required Inspection Reports for further reference.

Applies barcode labels and locates all material in its proper inventory location within the warehouse for storage or distribution and performs inventory cycle counts as required.

Understanding of the SAP business system, experience with modern warehousing practices and methods and the use of a hand held bar-code scanners for warehouse operations.

Forklift experience and license is required for loading or unloading product from semi-trucks, vans or other licensed vehicles.

Organizational skills, Time Management, Inventory Control, Documentation Skills, Equipment Maintenance, Data Entry knowledge are required.

Prepares orders by; processing stock item requests, kitting production orders, creating Delivery Notes, moving material to inventory locations, affixes required shipping labels or stencils identifying information on outgoing packed boxes and placing merchandise on pallets to ensure shipments meet required specifications.

Schedules trucks, fills out required paperwork; BOL, Shipper, Forms, takes photos as needed, analyzes load requirements and records weight and dimensions, if not specified.

Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping and receiving supply area; complying with procedures, rules, regulations and Lean principles.

Orders and maintains warehouse materials and supplies.

Make recommendations to management for process improvements and other cost saving measures.

Adhere to all company Safety, Quality Policies, U S Customs Requirements and all Environmental Processes and Procedures.

Supervisory Responsibilities

None.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); plus ten years related experience and/or training.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before small groups of customers or employees of organization.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Other Qualifications

Knowledge of inventory control, stock room procedures, purchasing functions, and production control procedures. Ability to organize work and establish priorities with limited supervision. Knowledge of MRP system. Must have valid state driver license.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate depending on traffic in the office. The noise volume can be loud when assisting employees in the shop or posting.
