Everside Health is on a mission to transform healthcare in America. As we grow in the western United States, we have an exciting new opportunity for a Vice President of Operations based in Las Vegas. This individual will oversee 25+ existing health centers and open new primary care offices in the region. The VP of Operations will have full responsibility, including P&L accountability, for Everside's clinic operations in Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, parts of California, and potentially other western states. The role requires regular overnight travel to support health center operations and client relationships within the region.

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.

Caring for our patients:

  • Plans, organizes, and leads health center teams, including staff hiring, training, scheduling, and oversight of inventory and facilities.
  • Relentlessly drives clinical outcomes, identifying areas of opportunity and driving the team to ensure we provide the best care possible.
  • Ensures patient safety and infection control standards are achieved throughout the assigned health centers.
  • Partners with providers to implement new services, procedures, and procedures to advance our goal of practicing top-of-scope family medicine.
  • Supports education and enrollment activities associated with acquiring new patient members and helping them to engage in our services.
  • Monitors progress towards patient, client, and teammate satisfaction goals. Responds to complaints with thorough investigation of concerns.

Caring for our teammates:
  • Maintains accountability for health center staffing, ensuring appropriate coverage to support providers, health center schedules, and client needs.
  • Provides leadership to direct reports and the entire team, including the direct supervision, development of and accountability for the performance of staff throughout the region.
  • Oversees all employment activity effectively and professionally, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, development, evaluating job performance, compensation, and disciplinary action.
  • Supports providers throughout region, striving to alleviate administrative burdens so providers can focus on their patients. Responds to provider issues promptly and with a positive spirit.

Providing best-in-class client service:
  • Leads client interactions, including monthly and annual reporting needs.
  • Maximizes client satisfaction by delivering excellent clinical care, providing timely reports, addressing issues, and becoming a trusted advisor to each client.
  • Partners with internal Everside Health teams to ensure eligible members understand the Everside difference so they and their families use us as their "first call" when a healthcare need arises.
  • Develops strategies and action plans to align Everside's services with each client's wellness initiatives, benefits plans, and other company objectives.

Leading a strong and growing business:
  • Manages a rapidly growing $25-million P&L, including 25+ primary care offices.
  • Strategically coordinates health center workflows and staffing to achieve maximum quality, service, and value for our patients and clients.
  • Actively leads or participates in projects and activities that promote achievement of quality, financial, and strategic goals.
  • Leads team in complying with governmental, accreditation, and other regulations/requirements and with health center policies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support the essential functions of the job and operational needs of Everside Health.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 10+ years of healthcare leadership experience with accountability for metrics, satisfaction, and operational efficiencies
  • Master's Degree (MBA/MHA preferred)
  • Previous multi-site operational management in a medical practice setting
  • Willing and able to travel extensively throughout the assigned region
  • High degree of client focus and attention to service excellence
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong presentation, employee management, and project implementation skills
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office and comfort using an EMR (we use eClinicalWorks)
