*Reports to:* Chief Scientific Officer.
*WFH Policy:* While we do offer some work-from-home flexibility, employees are expected to work onsite in SSF on a regular basis, ideally at least 2-3 days per week.

What You Will Be Doing - Directly impact company strategy as a member of the Research Leadership Team
- Inform early clinical dosing strategy
- Build and lead the nonclinical / translational strategy for our programs
- Oversight of in vitro, in vivo, ex vivo studies, GLP studies, nonclinical safety/toxicology, exploratory/developmental pharmacology studies, & PK/ADME assessment
- Design and execute plans to efficiently advance our programs to the clinic
What You Need for this Position Required:
- PhD in toxicology, pharmacology or other relevant science
- 15+ years' industry experience
- Proven experience progressing drug candidates from research through approved IND(s)
- Experience in nonclinical pharmacology, ADME and toxicology studies

Preferred:
- Alternative / novel modalities (e.g., protein-small-molecule conjugates, gene therapy, ADCs, I/O, large molecules)
