Primary Purpose:
The Monitoring and Evaluation Senior Specialist is responsible for developing and ensuring the integrity of the M&E framework for the Reception and Placement (R&P) and Afghan Placement and Assistance (APA) programs. The Senior Specialist promotes implementation of resettlement programs in accordance with donor guidelines with the ultimate goal of surpassing contractual requirements to foster successful refugee resettlement and integration in the U.S. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure accountability and effectiveness of programs through data collection and analysis to inform program design.This position coordinates the monitoring team including establishing monitoring schedule and reviewing written reports.An important prerequisite for this position is the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a collegial manner and to work independently to carry assignments through to completion. Domestic travel is required.
