Description: Our client is currently seeking a UAT Quality Technical Lead
This job will have the following responsibilities:

  • The Quality Technical Test Lead will be responsible for leading the Enterprise Technical User Acceptance Testing required to develop and support Information System (IS) projects. The Enterprise Technical User Acceptance Test (UAT) team will be responsible for UAT Enterprise applications and services in-depth, including inter-application communications at the Integration and Data layers, as well as data conversions and Extract, Translate and Load (ETL) processes for data warehousing.

    Job Responsibilities Include:
    • Responsible for test case assignment and execution by the Technical Quality UAT Team
    • Provide test metrics and reports to IS Test Management regarding Technical UAT testing of releases.
    • Provide day-to-assistance and guidance to Technical Quality UAT Analysts
    • Assists in design and definition of technical UAT Plan and Test Data Strategy for Enterprise testing projects
    • Provide technical expertise to vendor partners regarding Test Planning, Test Case Creation, Defect Reporting and Tracking.
    • Review of UAT cases developed by the client
    • Execution of Interface testing of batch and data processes with Interface Partners including extraction and build of test data and verification of test results as compared to business requirements
    • Peer review of UAT test case executions
    • Support for Beta/Pilot testing if and where applicable

    Basic Qualifications:
    • Minimum 5 years' experience involved in mid-scale or large-scale system development projects (including using test automation, test strategy, developing and executing test scripts and test plans)
    • Minimum 2 years' experience as technical lead to technical testers
    • Minimum 2 years' experience on one or more Eligibility, Medicaid, or Health and Human Services (HHS) IT projects
    • Minimum 3 years technical testing experience to include:
    Ø Understanding of Software Quality Assurance best practices
    Ø Development of High-Level Test Case scenarios
    Ø Ability to liaise with non-technical users and transform feedback into technical test cases
    Ø Creating Test Plans and Test Data Strategies
    Ø Technical Testing, inclusive of non-User Interface functional, and Non-functional testing
    Ø SQL (Oracle and PostgreSQL)
    Ø Data analytics, Data Warehouse Quality Assurance Testing including ETL processes
    Ø Quality review, data process fulfillment, and execution
    Ø Testing applications developed for Cloud processing
    Ø Testing integrated Service Level processes
    Ø Creating and executing test cases for large scale implementations
    Ø Basic understanding of Micro Services, Web Services
    Ø Experience with the following type of tools: Data Quality Inspector, SOAP UI, XML, JSON
    Ø Experience with following (or equivalent): DB2, Qlik, Snowflake

    Preferred Skills:
    • Ability to develop effective, positive working relationships with both internal and external contacts.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Familiarity with requirements traceability matrix
    • Experience with Atlassian products Jira/Jama
    • Experience with Prolaborate
    • Proficiency with Excel, Visio, Word, Power Point, SharePoint
    • Experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) process model
