ASSIGNMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Independently leads and provides project management for translation projects
• Ensures translation projects meet requirements on time and within budget
• Monitors progress of translation projects and reports status
• Manages translation tasks and designates resources
• Effectively manages work with vendor partners as appropriate
• Supports translation, editing, quality assurance, and other linguistic tasks
• Creates reports
• Manages budget tracking and invoice processing

 QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years of translation project management experience, preferably at an LSP
• 4-year college degree required, preferably in Translation, Linguistics or equivalent
• Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of CAT Tools
• Native fluency in Spanish
• Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint,  InDesign and SharePoint experience
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks for self and others
• Experience managing  multiple projects simultaneously
• Detail-oriented & strong organizational & analytical skills
• High degree of professionalism and high sensitivity for confidentiality
• Strong sense of urgency and demonstrates initiative and follows thru
• Comfortable with ambiguity and change
• Comfortable working in a team
• Strong written communication skills
