JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a hybrid position primarily based in Louisville, KY. We're committed to your flexibility and wellbeing and our hybrid strategy currently requires two days a week in the office, giving you the option to work remotely for some of your working week.

Computershare is looking for someone who is detail oriented to join our growing team at Computershare as a Transaction Processor. This position is fast paced and requires accuracy for high quality and reliability, using defined procedures in straightforward situations.

A role you will love

As a Transaction Processer you will be trained to maintain account transactions, issue replacement checks on shareholder accounts, and comprehend shareholder instructions to accurately process multiple requests. Working from an electronic queue through our system, this position completes data entry of shareholder details and share amounts as well as requests to transfer shares from one party to another, requests to sell shares, account updates including address changes, dividend payment elections and a variety of other maintenance transactions.

There are specific service level standards related to the review and processing of the transactions so the ability to prioritize your daily work to meet the challenge is a must. Flexibility and dependability are important in this role. If you have keen organizational skills, and either data entry experience,strong reading comprehension abilities or you are just looking for a difference in career, this may be the perfect fit for you.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Process and/or review routine and complex data entry transactions along with communicating directly with clients, brokers, or relationship managers within established productivity and quality standards.
  • Research, follow up and resolution of stakeholder inquiries and deficient transactions presented for processing.
  • Review and ensure that the required legal documentation and/or client authorization has been obtained prior to processing.
  • Research any out of balance conditions with the Reconciliation Team.
  • Daily review of information pertaining to processing feedback and procedural updates.
  • Required to work overtime and assist on other functions or departments during peak volumes to assist in meeting our clients service level agreements.

What will you bring to the role?

As you can imagine, we need you to have great attention to detail. Supporting a core process isn't an easy job, so being able to think independently, problem solve, and work quickly are some key skills that you'll need for this role.

Other key skills required for the role include:
  • Good communication skills
  • Good Technical skills, proficient in Microsoft packages
  • Upbeat Energetic and ready to learn, wants to learn
  • Attention to Detail, specifically for the purposes of Reading Comprehension
  • Good Data Entry skills, and ability to type an average of 65 words per minute.
  • Previous hands-on experience in a metrics-driven environment where there were established productivity and quality standards, are preferred.
  • Keen organizational skills, and ability to multi-task
  • Willing to adhere to compliance-related class testing and certification as required.
  • Computer skills
  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
