We are currently looking for a Training Manager, Americas to join our Houston office. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a highly collaborative and supportive team. You will be designing, planning, and implementing training programs, policies, and procedures to fulfill those needs.

This is a full-time position based out of Houston and will be moving to a hybrid model in the future.

Our new Training Manager will:

  • Be responsible for managing a team of 8-12 individuals and ensuring the team delivers the highest level of training to our clients
  • Assess the needs of the business, development plans, implement training and facilitate a wide variety of training programs that enhance the effectiveness of our offerings to our clients
  • Execute and accomplish departmental objectives by recruiting, selecting, scheduling, coaching and disciplining employees
  • Will be communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions, enforcing policies and procedures
  • Lead, coach and develop team resources to achieve superior training delivery services; promote internal team engagement, participation, and collaboration
  • Establish, create, and manage training delivery metrics and revenue tracking with the ability to analyze results for leadership reporting
  • Monitor training delivery quality, policies and procedures through mock sessions and client readiness tasks through various training and teaching methods
  • Collaborate with regional teams (Instructional Design, Knowledge Base, Support, Management, etc.) to define training standards and programs; collaborate with sales and marketing to identify and maximize revenue opportunities
  • Responsible for $5M+ in training revenue for designated region across multiple platforms; engaging and presenting to universities, organizations, students, and industry clients for program participation; managing cost for budgetary alignment and increased margins
  • Communicates with other departmental management to ensure consistent internal policies and processes; work collectively to plan and execute the strategic initiatives defined annually within the department to align with company business goals
  • Constant communication with Sr. Director on reporting activities and team development; communicating internal and external relating concerns, recommendations and opinions from internal team members and external clients
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time or as needed

Our new Training Manager will have:
  • The experience. You have a minimum of 2 years of management experience and have successfully led and coached a team in the past. You also have strong management and leadership skills. Having a global understanding of commercial real estate concepts would be a plus.
  • The education. You have a degree in Diploma or Degree in a related field and / or a minimum of 2 years of management experience
  • Collaboration skills. You are personable and have the ability to build strong relationships with clients. You are a positive person who enjoys participating within a team and is an encouraging team member.
  • Training Management expertise. You have training management experience on various platforms. If you have experience with ARGUS or are ARGUS Software Certified in AE, DCF & Developer that would be an definite asset.
  • Communication skills. You are a strong verbal communicator who can present articulately to clients and drive a conversation. You also have great written communication with the strong ability to write proposals.
