Job Description Summary:
The M&A Technology Integration Manager will operate as the "horizontal" (cross-functional) Integration Manager within the TPX (Technology, Platforms, and Experiences) organization and will be responsible for coordinating with the matrixed team of TPX M&A points of contact (POCs) in planning and orchestrating technical diligence and integration activities for PayPal's current and future acquisitions. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the operations, planning and execution of TPX M&A activities from due diligence through deal execution and integration in an organized, disciplined and predictable fashion. You will be a critical partner to the TPX M&A technology functional leads and the enterprise integration team in managing dependencies, mitigating risks, resolving issues, and effectively communicating at all levels within TPX and the acquired companies. You will also help enable M&A Playbook and Foundational Platforms convergence initiatives.

PayPal's technology organization designs, develops, and maintains mobile, web, and back-office systems that bring financial flexibility to over 260 million active customers around the globe.

As part of the Technology Platform Experiences ("TPX") M&A Integration Office team, you will operate as the "horizontal" (cross-functional) Integration Manager within TPX and be responsible for coordinating with the matrixed team of TPX M&A points of contact (POCs) in planning and orchestrating technical diligence and integration activities for PayPal's current and future acquisitions. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the operations, planning and execution of TPX M&A activities from due diligence through deal execution and integration in an organized, disciplined and predictable fashion; be a critical partner to TPX M&A POCs in managing dependencies, mitigating risks, resolving issues, and effectively communicating at all levels within TPX and the acquired companies; manage the end-to-end TPX M&A integration plan and status reporting activities; work with the TPX M&A Integration Office Lead to drive efforts in support of TPX M&A Playbook and Foundational Platform convergence activities; partner with the PayPal M&A Corp Dev and Integration teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading end-to-end M&A technology/infrastructure integration programs, possess stellar written and verbal communication skills, have demonstrated success influencing others where you don't have authority, and be highly organized.

You are detail oriented, meticulous, customer-focused, and have a reputation for getting things done. Moreover, you love operating in a dynamic and demanding environment, think critically, act quickly, and partner naturally. Good judgment, and team building skills are coveted.

Job responsibilities may include:

• Communicating with teams across PayPal and acquired companies to socialize, validate, and refine integration plans

• Representing TPX/Infrastructure workstream during PayPal M&A Integration Program update/review sessions

• Managing integration program risks and issues, working with functional leads to develop and implement mitigation strategies

• Driving the end-to-end efforts to execute the integration plan, working with and through functional teams to prioritize and deliver outcomes

• Maintaining and updating the M&A technical integration playbook and supporting Foundational Platform convergence activities

• Facilitating joint planning sessions between TPX core team and acquired company

Preferred Qualifications:

• 7-10 years of technical program/project management experience in a fast pace technology company and/or consulting

• Demonstrated experience leading technology/infrastructure integration programs

• Literate/familiarity with information security, data platforms, site reliability/infrastructure, and employee technologies/IT program management methodologies, principles, and concepts

• Strong project management full life cycle experience in large scale technology projects leveraging different methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.)

• Comfortable working with diverse teams in multiple locations.

• Ability to influence where you do not have direct authority through strong interpersonal skills
