Overview

The position of Title Coordinator will have administrative responsibilities in support of the Director of Title Operations and a team of experienced Title Agents across multiple markets. This role will be exposed to many areas of the title examination and closing process, including order opening, ordering tax records, policy delivery, entity search management as well as accounting and system administration. This role will require the ability to be flexible and responsive to the varied needs across different markets, as these needs change over time. For the right candidate, this role should be an opportunity to learn the title industry and develop professionally into a Title Agent.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work independently to open new title orders from closing attorneys and settlement agents
  • Learn to utilize and order title and tax information across a variety of platforms and systems in different markets
  • Print and mail title policies to both lender and homebuyer customers
  • Maintain relationships with our underwriting and settlement agent partners in different markets
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail delivery in multiple markets
  • Be responsible to managing company phone systems, updating the team on incoming customer or partner inquiries
  • Utilize company software platform to perform numerous file related operations
  • Perform ad-hoc projects and requests from Title Agents in multiple markets in support of company objectives
  • Follow established procedural guidelines
  • Other responsibilities, as assigned


Education & Experience

  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma
  • Prior title industry experience helpful, not required
