General Overview

The Third Party Reviewer under the general supervision of the Unit Supervisor is responsible for the reviewing, processing and resolution of the Client receivable for all facilities in EPIC.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • To set up invoices for paper and electronic submission to the payers
  • Resolve billed client invoices by contacting both internal and external clients
  • Calculate payable portion per applicable contract and utilize available tools to secure proper payment from payer. This includes contacting payer as needed and reviewing contract and billing terms
  • As needed assignments


  • Qualifications
    Qualifications

    A minimum of two years Patient Accounting experience or similar background with review work.

    A High school diploma or equivalent required.

    Associated Degree preferred

    Skills/Abilities/Competencies

    Strong proficiency in MS Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook required.

    Strong written and verbal skills; ability to handle complicated account problems in a timely manner; ability to handle multiple tasks having complex procedural steps
