Zurich (Schaumburg, IL) seeks a Test Automation & Quality Manager responsible for designing, developing and maintaining Test Automation frameworks, testing assets using industry leading automation tools and assessing and maturing the current Automation capabilities and helping in integrating with existing CI/CD pipeline. Specific duties include: lead API testing and webservices; develop test accelerators and harnesses that can optimize overall regression testing cycle times and coverage; assess Test Automation frameworks and tools, resource planning, estimations and planning; provide technical expertise to design and develop Test automation frameworks and test harnesses; play a key subject matter expert role in the area of software quality assurance testing; remain current with industry trends with automated testing techniques and methodologies; partner with Zurich testing staff and other strategic testing vendors to provide implementation testing support of technology solutions in an Agile environment; partner with Business Analysts and Business SME's to help define Integration, User Acceptance and Regression testing strategy/plan; provide day to day direction to the testing teams, which includes onsite and offshore contract resources; and participate in daily Scrum calls and project status meetings to provide testing status and testing metrics. Option to work remotely with required travel to the Schaumburg, IL headquarters 2-3 days a week.

Position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems or a closely related field of study, plus 8 years of experience in the job offered, or similar position. Must have 5 years of experience with each of the following: Architecting and Implementing Test Automation frameworks using industry leading automation tools, such as Micro Focus UFT, Selenium, or similar; leading Quality Assurance/Testing engagements for medium to large sized transformational programs; and working with Java or other OOP languages. Must also have 3 years of experience with each of the following: working in the Insurance P&C domain supporting Policy Administration Transformational programs; and working in Guidewire Policy Center or other equivalent COTS - Policy Admin platforms. Additional, specific experience must include working with Automation, Devops Integration with Test Harness, Functional and Manual testing techniques. Option to work remotely with required travel to the Schaumburg, IL headquarters 2-3 days a week.
