RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is currently seeking a Test Associate for an enterprise level client in Redmond, WA.EDU Quality (QA) team has 3 primary support roles:- Support client architecture - validating new EDU features during development, testing how new features implemented by the Studio team overlap with EDU features, and identifying regressions or conflicts with older features
- Support content team - EDU content developers create new worlds for download; The QA team helps validate compliance, functionality, and user experience for the content team
- Collaborate with EDU Support - The Support team monitors incoming tickets, as well as social media platforms to help identify and prioritize issues from customers; The QA team helps validate and create local reproduction of issues - helping troubleshoot to either resolve problems or create actionable items for developers to implement in the client or services
REQUIREMENTS:
- BS degree or commensurate experience is required to be eligible for this role
- 2-4 overall years of experience in the field
- Minimum 2+ years of experience with Minecraft (personal experience accepted); Experience in teaching or in the education field would also carry weight for a candidate; The EDU team works on a lot of features; Agility and adaptability are preferred over area experts
- Minimum 1+ years of experience with Software/game testing in a collaborative environment (not solo fixing their own code)
- Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain experience with Minecraft, software testing, and have some experience in Education
- Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on precision, reliability of results, ability to work with others
- Hard Skills Assessment Process: The assessment process will include 30-minute skills/experience assessment over Minecraft and testing methodologies, role clarification if needed
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
