Description
**This is a temporary assignment expected to last 11 months from start date**

Location: 3001 Y Street- Lincoln, Nebraska
Examples of Work
Operate various types of heavy equipment to construct new facilities and provide maintenance to non-hard surfaced agency roads. Repair diesel and gasoline engines and hydraulic systems. Perform related work as required
Qualifications / Requirements
REQUIREMENTS: Eighth Grade education or equivalent plus three years experience in heavy equipment use and repair. Other: Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

PREFERRED: Pre-employment and random draw CDL drug testing required. Some overnight out -of -town travel required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of heavy highway construction methods, and excavation operations. Skill in diesel and gasoline engine mechanics. Considerable skill in the operation of heavy equipment with the ability to do finish grade work. Must be able communicate effectively with others.
