SUMMARY

GameStop is looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our Ecommerce Engineering team. This role will be remote and will collaborate with a team of engineers, product managers, designers, and business partners distributed across the U.S. In this role, you will help scope and deliver new Ecommerce Engineering projects end to end. The ideal candidate will be customer-obsessed, highly collaborative, passionate about creating customer experiences that are both frictionless and delightful and have some experience in eCommerce Fraud landscape. A passion for gaming is a plus!

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and software engineers to build software solutions that power the shopping experience across all platforms.

  • Scope out large complex projects and break them down into manageable sub-projects.

  • Own the continuous planning of engineering roadmaps and projects.

  • Prioritize engineering team tasks and communicate progress to stakeholders.

  • Establish, evolve and standardize engineering team processes.

  • Assess requirements for feasibility and develop functional specs

  • Use data to provide input to prioritization discussions.

  • Thrive in an ambiguous environment, be resourceful, and make tradeoffs to deliver customer impact.

  • Exhibit a bias for action, constantly looking for ways to improve performance and customer experience.

  • Establish strong working relationships across all levels and functions of the organization.

  • Be results-oriented, data-driven, and passionate about building innovative customer experiences.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM or related area, or equivalent relevant experience

  • 3+ years relevant work experience in a TPM role. This is in addition to degree/experience requirement above.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like, agile development environment.

  • Strong understanding of software engineering project management.

  • Demonstrated track record of cultivating strong working relationships and collaborating across multiple teams.

WHAT'S GOOD TO HAVE

  • Software engineering experience.

  • Ecommerce experience

  • Interest and/ or experience in Fraud related products
