What You Will Be Doing You will be responsible for tax compliance, tax consulting, and efficiently completing preparation of all clients tax returns. You will develop and mentor staff, form long term relationships with clients and generate new business.
-Facilitate and manage the preparation, review and accurate, timely filing of all federal and state tax forms
-Provide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns
-Find and implement opportunities for process improvement in company tax procedures
-Manage tax provision and tax compliance process
-Build new and existing client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of client business
-Manage, train, and review tax staff
-Assume various responsibilities to assist with the overall management of the Firm
What You Need for this Position 5+ years of public accounting experience
-CPA certification required
-Technical expert knowledge of tax law
-Experience with tax research software such as CCH and Bloomberg. Also, in tax compliance software, such as CCH Document, BNA, CCH Fixed Assets beneficial
-Strong knowledge of tax code, compliance and procedures for corporations
-Familiarity with U.S. federal, state and local reporting requirements
