ECS is seeking a Systems Support III - Support General IT TOC to work in our Martinsburg, WV office.

Job Description:

• Under general supervision, designs, tests, and maintains personal computer systems. Responsible for analyzing and solving personal computer-related problems.
• Responsible for security, integrity, and reliability of personal computer systems. Tests and integrates new hardware, systems and modifications to existing equipment and systems.
• Performs research/investigations, analysis, design, testing, and installation of supported hardware and software.
• Schedules installation of new hardware and software and modifications to existing systems.
• Monitors performance of hardware and its capacity in all assigned locations. Recommends and implements enhancements to existing hardware and systems.
• Complete testing per SOP of new applications or software, software products on the customer's core WIN10 image and/or new hardware platforms; perform other Information Technology work following established SOP.
• Shift from onsite servers to virtual machines.
• Physical labor will be required to perform tasks such as racking servers, handling of IT equipment for accounting and shipping purposes, cable etc.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree (or equiv. or 7 yrs. experience)
• 2-4 years' experience in similar field or in a related area assisting with personal computer and mainframe computer operating systems software and communication system software.
• VMWare (or experience with virtual machine software) preferred.

Desired Skills:

• Three to four years demonstrated performance in supporting business systems.
• Under general supervision, addresses system issues by identifying and resolving solutions to more difficult problems.
• Primarily focused on supporting small to medium sized systems.
