Our Client is seeking a Systems Security Engineer in Miami, FL.

Role Description

Responsibilities of the Senior Security Advisor to include: Leading system and network architecture support for information and network security technologies. Leading development and execution of risk assessment methodologies to fit business, regulatory, and technical environment considerations. Leading the development of requirements, system architecture, and software design of security products and services. Leading the development of strategies for discovery, evaluation and response to new networking attacks; developing security incident response plans and strategies. Providing trouble resolution and serving as point of technical escalation on complex problems. Creating presentations and seeks IT management approval and acceptance of significant replacements or reconfigurations of major security systems serving the Enterprise.

Skills & Requirements

• 5+ years of Systems Security Engineering experience in various technology environments
• Possess experience evaluating systems security (controls/current processes) and identifying gaps (i.e. traffic between servers, authentication, user access, etc.)
• Possess experience designing and engineering comprehensive technical security solutions based on business requirements
• Possess advanced knowledge and understanding of industry-accepted data processing controls and concepts as applied to access management and network security technologies, hardware, software, data, and network communications
• Possess experience leading the development of requirements, system architecture, and software design of security products and services
