RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Systems Engineer in Rockville, MD. The Systems Engineer will maintain the 40+ devices in the lab facility located in Rockville, MD.Summary:As part of an onsite team of 2, partner with other Image Engineer to develop, test, troubleshoot and deliver workstation images and in place upgrades, OSD task sequences, user and MECM collections, software packages, and configuration baselines. The Systems Engineer will troubleshoot issues with database, images, task sequences, etc., as required and to resolution.Duties Include:- Create and maintain MECM Collections via direct or Dynamic WQL Query rules
- Add/remove/disable steps within a task sequence and adding conditions to task sequence steps
- As a Systems Engineer, you will drive customer requested deliverables to achieve due dates
- Communicate clearly both written and verbally
- Comprehension of and experience working with the MS MECM platform
- Track all job deliverables and communicate progress of tasks weekly or ask requested
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience such that candidate can -walk-on- and immediately create image/task sequences via MECM platform, (e.g., create and maintain OSD and IPU task sequences)
- Strong SQL Query Language, CMDB, WSUS and SUSDB experience, including troubleshooting DB related issues
- Experience power shell scripting
- Experience working with Windows 7, 10 11 Operating Systems
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
