System Validation Engineer If you are a System Validation Engineer with experience, please read on!
What You Will Be Doing System Validation Engineer Responsibilities
Compile, Run & Debug C/C++ tests(targeting CPU/DSP) on Emulation, FPGA & Post-silicon setups
Debug tests using logs (from Ref-model, Firmware), waves, CPU/DSP dis-assembly, traces
Run tests for performance characterization on emulation, fpga & post-silicon setups
Create small automation scripts in python to automate debug, compile and run steps in emulation, fpga & post-silicon platforms
Work closely with members of System Validation team to complete pre-silicon/post-silicon test plan.

Good to have skills
Experience running tests on FPGA and/or Emulation platforms for SoC like IP
Experience running real SW/FW application on FPGA and/or Emulation platforms for SoC like IP
Experience in post-silicon bringup and flows for SoC like IP
Experience with lab system debug with logic analyzers, scopes, meters, etc
Experience in power tests and evaluation on prototyping platforms
Familiarity with AMBA-AXI protocol, OCP protocol
DV experience performing performance testing & power tests at Sub-System, SOC level
Debugging failures in complex tests at Subsystem or SOC level, using logs, cpu traces, waves.
DV experience at complex Subsystem or SOC level test-benches, creating C/C++ tests that run on ARM/DSP cores.
