Location: REMOTE
Description: Our client is currently seeking a System Architect for a remote position. This role would see the candidate as the System Architect, who would be the service owner and collaborator, partnering with business groups to deploy new services, monitor their health and respond to incidents. As a senior member of the IT team, you would mentor more junior members and work to streamline and improve IT tools, processes and procedures.
Principals Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
• Work with business groups to determine their infrastructure requirements and
deploy solutions
• Provide thought leadership on the changing capabilities of IT to support the greater
business
• Design, create, and manage new services and integrations
• Monitor service health and respond to incidents
• Provide assistance, guidance, and mentorship to more junior members of the
infrastructure team
• Engage in practice development activities by developing tools, improving processes,
and developing training material
• Maintain backups and perform disaster recovery procedures
• Provide tier 3 helpdesk support
• Create advanced automations for tasks and workflows
• Perform infrastructure/maintenance changes
• Perform information security review activities
• Various day-to-day tasks or projects as assigned by leadership
Qualifications and Skills
Education
• Associates or Bachelors Degree in IT or a related field OR 5+ years relevant
professional experience
• One or more certifications in a relevant domain, preferred
Skills
• Must have Azure Cloud experience and expertise
• Ability to be an expert in CRM implementation and integration systems (for Salesforce, Financial Force, etc)
• Cloud SaaS/IaaS experience would be very useful for higher level integration.
• PowerShell or Python scripting experience
• Apache Camel experience is a big plus
Experience
• Experience with Cloud/IaaS administration
• Demonstrated knowledge of networking
• Experience with backup/DR systems
• Prior experience with Salesforce administration preferred
• Knowledge of scripting, particularly PowerShell, apex and python
• Demonstrated experience with Linux/ Windows server
• IT helpdesk and customer service experience

Supervision Received
As member of the IT team, the role requires the ability to perform with minimal
supervision. This position reports to the Infrastructure Manager (or above) and works with IT Team.
