ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:
* Oversee Active Directory services domain account administration
* Subject Matter Expert in VMWare VSphere
* Subject Matter Expert in Dell PowerEdge VRTX systems
* Subject Matter Expert in Dell Compellent SAN
* Subject Matter Expert on Oracle & SQL Server administration
* Be the Subject Matter Expert in backup and recovery operations with Veeam
* Work with vendors to diagnose, update and correct operational problems associated with specific hardware and software
* Manage the deployment and administration of physical and virtual server infrastructure
* Manage operating systems installation, upgrade, configuration, standardization and deployments
* Assist deployment and administration of Cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure, etc.).
* Lead related incident review and root cause analysis, and escalate incidents as appropriate
* Responsible for resolving incidents and helping team to establish and sustain service level agreements
* Periodically test systems, data, and environmental recovery procedures to validate the effectiveness of documented recovery plans. This includes recovery due to individual system issues, cyber security events, or disaster recovery scenarios
* Ensure all hardware and infrastructure software to versions and releases supported by the respective vendors
* Create patching processes and upgrade processes for BIOS, operating systems, and software. Create rollover processes for replacing equipment prior to decommissioning

Additional Responsibilities:
This position will also act as a local supplement to Service Delivery for end user support
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
Must have:
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
* Five years of Systems Administration in a Windows environment
* Active Directory and Group Policies administration
* Expertise in VSphere environments, including related servers, storage (SAN), and network virtualization
* Working experience in Dell PowerEdge VRTX environments
* Expertise in Enterprise backup and Recovery Platforms
* Expertise in MS SQL Server databases configurations and/or Oracle relational databases
* Familiarity with LAN/WAN topologies and troubleshooting
* Understanding of firewall security and network segmentation
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills within a collaborative environment
Desirable:
* Experience with AWS/Azure deployment and administration
* MCSE or VMWare Certifications desired
* Prior experience working in the renewable energy industry preferred
* Experience with project management
