Seeking Warehouse Supervisors for all shifts for our Macon, GA Distribution Center

Summary: Directly supervises Warehouse Department employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization s policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include:

• Training employees
• Planning assigning and directing work
• Scheduling and managing overtime appraising performance
• Disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Keep all aspects of inventory accurate; whether receiving off the floor or receiving from outside vendors.
• Manage housekeeping in dock area.
• While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to extreme cold.
• The employee is occasionally exposed to vibration.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
• Ensuring that all product quality and safety processes are being followed consistently promoting a safe work environment and performing other responsibilities as needed.
• Following all safety and policy procedures as set forth by Tyson Foods.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent OR 3 years of relative work experience.

Experience: Supervisory experience in a warehouse environment is preferred, but not required

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills are preferred but not required.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Travel: Some travel may be required to attend training classes.

Special Skills: Motivated self-starter who has the desire to learn and the ability to lead others.
