SUPPLY CHAIN SUMMER INTERN

POSITION SUMMARY

Gibbs Die Casting Corporation (Gibbs) is looking for interns to join our creative supply chain team. Our supply chain group is hardworking, smart, goal-oriented, and creative, and they are looking for interns to train to participate in every level of supply chain management. Interns should expect to learn multiple facets of manufacturing and will leave this position with invaluable skills and industry knowledge. This internship program is highly regarded in our field, so successful participation will be a great addition to your resume.

This is a 1st shift position (8am - 4pm), 40 hours per week, paying an hourly rate of $17.00, and does not include housing. Authorization to work in the United States is a precondition of employment. Gibbs will not sponsor applicants for work visas.

PROJECTS AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Confirm supplier lead times and update CMS data.
• Organize and establish bin locations in the Federal Stockroom.
• At the conclusion of the internship, he/she will develop a PowerPoint presentation recapping their experience and he/she will present a report to our management team.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current college student at any class level in any major.
• Abilities in MS Office, creativity, reasoning/logic, communication (verbal, written, and technical), problem solving, organization, and time management.
