Job Description

Position Overview

The Supply Chain Associate, Renewable Procurement will be responsible for administering major equipment supply agreements (e.g. wind turbine generators, solar photovoltaic (PV) modules, solar inverters, trackers, and battery energy storage systems (BESS) equipment) following contract execution. This role will include coordinating deliveries, receiving, invoicing, and tracking warranty claims. This position will be based in either Denver, Colorado or Chicago, Illinois and will require travel up to 25-50% of the time. This role reports to the Director of Renewable Procurement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with and support the Project Management team in order to ensure proper effectuation of contracts. Ensure that all contractual obligations, deadlines, and conditions are met.
  • Review and assess claims from suppliers. Support negotiations of claims, contractual change orders, and resolution of disputes with suppliers
  • Coordinate shipment tracking and delivery schedules with OEM Vendors, Carriers, and EPC's
  • Manage materials receiving and rejection documentation
  • Create and issue rejection and warranty notices
  • Reconcile major equipment invoices and prepare reports for Project Managers
  • Track Liquidated Damages incurred during delivery and commissioning periods
  • Generate regular reports on contract execution status for management team
  • Significant time at project sites will be required for this role

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • Two or more years of experience with supply chain management, or similar experience in a related field such as procurement or strategic sourcing
  • Proven and influential verbal and written communication skills
  • Database management skills
  • Strong understanding of the legal aspects of procurement
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, leadership, time management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage and administer multiple high value, high risk equipment supply contracts simultaneously while fulfilling project stakeholder contractual requirements and maintaining projects schedules
  • Desire to work in a dynamic environment alongside people with multiple interests and backgrounds
  • Domestic travel required 25 - 50%
  • Valid drivers license required

Preferred Skills:
  • APICS and or Six Sigma certifications

$77,000 - $90,000
