Job Description
The Supplier Strategy & Negotiator Director will report into Veolia WTS Chief Procurement Officer will lead creation of an enhanced global Negotiation & Supplier Management operating model and team to partner and support Procurement Organization in scope, negotiating in purchasing-addressable spend for all P&Ls. This role is primarily responsible for developing negotiation strategy, implementing the supplier management, rating, claim management and deploying the strong negotiation tactics to the Procurement team, as well as being responsible for managing the technical training catalog related to the negotiations skills. This position reports to the LAM Procurement Director and is based in São Paulo.
As we are working to shape and implement a global procurement function for the Water Tech Zone (WTS + VWT), the Negotiator & Supplier Management Director will play an instrumental role in this process, helping shape the global organization adapted to support our ambition to increase the strategic impact of the procurement and support Water Tech Zone growth . She / He will lead the implementation for NAM.

Specific responsibilities:
● Drive the Supplier Management priority improvements connected with strategy:
organization, business process, policy, and systems, and KPI.
● Work closely with Procurement, Quality, and Operations stakeholders to create supplier
development plans centered on quality, delivery, capacity and supplier process capability
Procurement planning: Assessment of P2P workflows, processes, systems/ tools used etc.
● Lead efforts to drive innovation within supplier enablement toolkits, evaluating existing
tools and adjusting as needed.
● Partnership with internal stakeholders to ensure a strong and winning revenue growth
strategy.
● Build strategic relationships with supplier community leadership and Procurement resulting in business alignment
● Develop understanding of Procurement business environment, Negotiations and spend.
● Implement negotiation training to the global Procurement team, keeping updated the
negotiation and tools based on the business needs and best practices.
● Lead negotiations and strategy development with leadership and key stakeholders that
create near & long-term value.
● Build strategic relationships with supplier community leadership resulting in business
alignment
● Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the supplier platform.
● Foster a strong connection across internal stakeholder teams to ensure a strong and winning revenue growth strategy.

Education & Experience
Required:
● Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or similar field, candidates with a master's
degree and / or certification like CPM/CPSM, PMP, etc. will have added advantage.
● Thirteen (13) years' experience in Procurement, Supply Chain function or equivalent role.
Preferred
● Experience in working in different cultures and environments, in a matrixed organization.
Working Conditions
● Annual travel required 30%.
