Job Title:Student Summer Assistant - Tuscarawas CountyDepartment:FAES | Tuscarawas County-JM

Responsibilities will be moderate and less routine and will require responsibility and good judgement. May coordinate activities for other student employees.Requires providing excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a professional environment.Requires previous experience and knowledge or skill in student assistant role.Represent the department and the university with the highest degree of integrity applying OSU mission and shared values.

This position is located in Tuscarawas County, New Philadelphia, OH.

Extension Office Intern for Ohio State University, Tuscarawas County will work with the Extension staff to support educational programming and community engagement. The student assistant will be responsible for developing educational materials and assisting with community-based programs.

Skills Expected: Leadership experience, Strong Communication, Organizational Skills, Computer Skills, Self Motivation, Enthusiastic, Demonstrate good people skills. Background and/ or familiarity with the 4-H Program beneficial.

The employee will work 38 hours per week, unless in enrolled in college classes during this period, in which they can work up to 28 hours per week.

Position term is May 6, 2024, to August 30, 2024. Negotiable based on school calendar.
