RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Staff Software Engineer in Allen, Texas (TX). The position will be hired remotely within the United States.Responsibilities include:- Completes product technical design and prototyping, software development, bug verification, and resolution
- Performs system analysis and programming activities which require extensive research and analysis
- Staff Software Engineer is designing, building, testing, deploying, maintaining, and scaling services in a microservices architecture that supports our banking solutions
- Provides technical/engineering support for new and existing applications from code delivery until the retirement of the application
- Ensure timely, effective, and quality delivery of software into production
- Develops and tests applications based on business requirements and industry best practices
- Creates required technical documentation
- Staff Software Engineer oversees the definition and documentation of standards
- Contributes to defining and improving department processes
- Collaboratively works with QA team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
- Collaboratively works with customer support team to resolve or diagnose defects
- May perform other job duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- 6+ years of recent software experience developing enterprise applications in C#
- 4+ years developing Web/REST Services or Web API
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Entity Framework
- 2+ years of experience with .NET Core 3.1+
- Must be able to effectively communicate technical design and defend decisions
- Must complete coding challenge during interview process
- Applicants must be fully authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Experience with MS Azure or other cloud technologies
- Microsoft and other programming/software engineering related certifications
- Experience with Unit and Integration Testing
- Experience with development across all phases of the SDLC
- Open API/Swagger experience
- Redis experience
- Collaborative team player
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
