  • We are seeking an empathetic Sr. UX designer to join our Design System team on Clinical Manager Platform. OCM is a strategic,?enterprise clinical platform?across that?leverages shared technology and services.?

  • You will collaborate closely with your product and dev partners in solving problems for our users using human centered design principles. We're combining Design and UX with leading-edge technologies to re-invent healthcare!

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support product design teams in building best-in-class design system across their platform (web, iOS, and Android), enabling designers to design and build consistent experiences.
  • Creates accessible interaction modules, screen layouts, style guides, pattern libraries, images, icons and other visual elements.
  • Write usage guidelines for all components and patterns, ensure consistent usage of them, and own the ongoing design system management process
  • Partner closely with the front-end engineering chapter to ensure high-quality standards, consistent design handoff artifacts, and implementation
  • Become an expert in the end-to-end experience across all teams and elevate the craft and quality of their platform
  • Build enterprise partnerships and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive design system adoption and solve complex problems in creative, thoughtful, and scalable ways.
  • Manage a governance and contribution model in a large ecosystem of designers and engineers.
  • Conduct activities in support of onboarding new product and design teams adopting our platform/design system.
  • Hands-on foundational research, interaction design, visual design, prototyping and customer research - taking problems from concept to implementation, quickly and iteratively.
  • Collaborate with product teams to ensure reusability and contribute to the system design ecosystem to improve and evolve design patterns.
  • Manage and translate end user research, facilitate structured brainstorming and ideation techniques, oversee rapid prototyping.
  • Translate business strategies into user experiences, which may include persona development, journey maps, workflow planning, wireframes, and low fidelity sketches.
  • Ability to successfully communicate and collaborate across a variety of stakeholders, including researchers, product managers, engineers as well as executives and customers

Required Qualifications

  • 3 or more years of UX/UI Product Design experience
  • 2 or more years of design system experience
  • Visual design expertise, highly skilled in UI Design
  • Experience working with design systems
  • Human-centered / design thinking training
  • Understanding of agile / lean + development frameworks
  • Self-starter who's comfortable with ambiguity and change
  • Be able to share a portfolio of work demonstrating your human centered approach and design thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience designing data-heavy software within a healthcare experience
  • Lead research studies
  • Experience with Figma libraries
  • Service design and creative workshop experience
  • Experience working in large, highly-matrixed corporation
