Position: Senior Systems Developer - Java Apps
Location: Calhoun, GA

Description

• Implements world-class eCommerce solutions for major international brand customers
• Acts as the Lead Developer of a customer-facing project Scrum team using the Agile Project Delivery Framework.
• Leads the team in developing Java/Spring based software that extends the Hybris platform to provide web/mobile applications and integrations with external systems.
• Works with customers, business analysts, and testers to understand business requirements and develop code to meet these requirements.
• Takes the lead on various development activities such as designing and developing specific business components, integrations, or larger parts of the solution.
• Provides technical leadership and mentoring of other members of the team. Reviews code and organizes development tasks for the development team.
• Takes part in customer-facing activities, mostly remotely with the possibility of occasional travel.
• Develops business logic to support the customer's requirements.
• Develops web-based applications using Java/Spring.
• Performs development of integrations with external systems.
• Performs development of unit and integration tests.
• Works closely with the Quality Assurance team as part of the Scrum team.

Minimum Requirements :

• Must have Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Foreign degree equivalent accepted.

• Must have 8 years of progressive experience in systems development positions with the following:

• • Performing software development using Java EE
  • Utilizing Spring framework
  • Developing eCommerce websites in SAP Hybris
  • Developing in SAP Commerce Cloud
  • Utilizing transactional and multi-threaded processes
  • Utilizing unit testing techniques and frameworks
  • Utilizing design patterns and N-Tiers architectures
  • Utilizing understanding of application performance tuning
  • Utilizing experience with the following software systems:
    • RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL, and SQL Server)
    • Distributed version control systems (Git and Mercurial)
    • Build automation tools (Maven and Gradle)
    • System integrations (using JMS, web services (REST), or ETL tools)
