Projects the candidate will be working on:

• Rally Commercial, Service Deprecation, Intelligent Consumer Profile, Notifications Center

Ideal Background:

• Ideally the candidate should have strong microservices coding background in either Java or Scala. Healthcare domain experience would be a plus but it is not required.

Team and Team size:

• Personalization team, specifically Offers
• 2 PM 6 Developers

Top Responsibilities:

• Architect and build scalable systems, libraries, and frameworks
• Develop APIs and web microservices
• Integrate third-party APIs, and the ability to understand them in several formats
• Write backend code using Scala
• Explain, Socialize and Vet designs internal and external stakeholders
• Identify, design and lead resolution areas for technical maturation across Personalization code base
• Establish, educate and extend design patterns

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other relevant discipline
• 4+ years of real industry experience in Backend software development
• 4+ years coding experience with Scala or Java
• 4+ years of experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and caching
• Demonstrated experience/exposure to distributed systems and high-performance systems
• Demonstrated experience/exposure to cloud-based services and hosting (AWS and/or Azure)

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience with Scala
