Baer is looking for 2 Sr. SAP MDG Consultants for a 9+ month project located in San Jose, CA.

Title: SAP MDG MM Solution Architect
Location: Remote with 25% to San Jose, CA
Duration: 9 months + likely extension
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed

Opportunity Description:

Our client is in the early Solution Confirmation phase of a multi-year S/4 Greenfield program for a global high tech manufacturer. This is a multi-release program encompassing the replacement of existing SAP ECC and third party systems to S/4 Private Cloud for all key process areas including, Finance, Order to Cash, MFG and SCM operations.

Role Description:

Specifically for the clients Data team, we are looking for 2 Sr. SAP MDG consultants to provide process and technical guidance to the functional process teams regarding SAP MDG standard capabilities, rationalization of existing ECC level master data extensions vs. standard MDG and the overall MDG data conversion process. There are specifically 2 resources needed. 1 focusing on Material Master and the other focused on Finance Master data elements related to Profit and Cost Center Accounting.

Key Activities will include:

• Co Lead and provide content for MDG Workshop activities to include articulating MDG process and capabilities to client stakeholders
• Collaborating with Process Delivery Teams to demonstrate MDG capabilities in response to various solution design options
• Drive SAP MDG solution design activities - Material Master, Finance Master Data Objects, Customer, Vendor, etc.
• Develop data migration strategies based on client data foundation and program objectives

Qualifications & Other Requirements:

• 5+ years of techno functional experience working across core aspects of SAP's MDG solution including Data Modeling and Governance Framework, Data Quality Management, Workflow and Business Process Management, User Interface and Data Governance Applications, Integration with SAP and Non-SAP Systems, Data Replication and Distribution, Analytics and Reporting and Extensibility and Customization options.
• Experience in MDG configuration of Business Partner/ Customer/ Vendor/Financial Objects/Material required and the ability to advise on the best practices in SAP EIM / MDG solution stack
• Strong grasp on data/ process modeling, UI Design, derivations, duplicate data checks, and Rule-based Workflow (BRF PLUS) required
• Experience with at least 1 S/4 full lifecycle migration program
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% to San Jose, CA to support key client workshops and design efforts is required
