Responsibilities

Come join a great culture where you will work to collaborate with sales,product, operations WW Channels, legal and other specialists to synthesize technical, commercial, financial, and other inputs to build and provide RFP and bid responses.

What Will You Do?

  • Be responsible for leading a team that owns the Cradlepoint sales RFP's and RFI's including bids responses and internal coordination to meet and win
  • Manage all aspects of contracts & bids including developing and implementing bid and capture strategy, managing contracts and capture of new opportunities
  • Review and understand solicitation documents (draft, final, Q&A, amendments, etc.) and create / develop key proposal artifacts, such as the necessary templates and outlines while tracking to key deliverable dates
  • Develop and write responses to both direct bids and in support of partner bids. Identify gaps in the current RFP response vs. requirements to identify the critical path forward and work cross functionally to ensure Cradlepoint submits an accurate, aligned response
  • Perform contract management, subcontract management, and duties including: maintaining and organizing contract documents; supporting proposal review and preparation; completing contract awards and modifications; interfacing with Government and Prime contracting agents
  • Work closely with Cradlepoint Legal Counsel and other functional departments to review, interpret and recommend acceptance, revisions and exceptions to contracts and contract modifications to ensure that prices, delivery schedule, specifications and terms and conditions are consistent with those proposed
  • Research and develop shared opportunities with longstanding, top strategic partners across all customer segments, industries, and geographies
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Five (5+) years leading and managing teams
  • Seven (7+) years of experience in vendor contracts including both direct bids and 2-tier partner support of sales vehicles
  • Seven (7+) years of experience working with government contracts and bids in the United States
  • Excellent written skills - both business and technical responses
  • Technical ability to understand and represent Cradlepoint in responses
  • Organizational focus and process oriented
  • Ability to improve processes and ensure compliance to company policy

Compensation and Benefits at Cradlepoint

At Cradlepoint, we know that our people are the key to our success. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package to help with your individual needs and goals.

Your Pay:

The salary range for this position is listed below. The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

  • $105,000 - $190,000
Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. This variable pay opportunity is dependent upon the attainment of agreed to goals and objectives as determined by Cradlepoint's Senior Leadership team. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Cradlepoint offers excellent, competitive employee benefits, such as: subsidized, nationwide PPO medical benefit options including a low-deductible Point of Service Plan and a qualifying High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP), with a generous company-provided HSA contribution. For California employees, we offer a subsidized HMO option through Kaiser. Cradlepoint also offers subsidized dental and vision coverage.

Your Financial Security:

We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. Cradlepoint's 401(k) plan has a 4% company match and immediate vesting. Employees will also receive company-paid employee basic life and AD&D insurance and company-paid disability benefits.

Your Time:

Your work-life balance is important to us. Cradlepoint provides generous paid time off, including: 15 days of Flexible Time Off (FTO), four paid quarterly well-being days, and 11 paid annual holidays (includes nine company holidays and up to two floating holidays). Please note that an employee's FTO balance and floating holidays may be prorated in the first year, based on start date. Cradlepoint also offers paid maternity-leave benefits and six weeks 100% paid family leave for all employees.
