Sr. Manager of Supply Chain *Job Title:* Manager of Supply Chain and CMOs
*Location:* On-Site in Cambridge, MA, with up to 25% travel to other CMO sites and clients
*Salary:* $130-160K, 10% Bonus
*Requirements:* Supply Chain and CMO management, High-Tech Mfg (Chemical/Coatings BONUS), QC Process/Continuous Improvement

Headquartered in Cambridge, MA, we are a well-funded nanotechnology company that develops and manufactures coatings to protect PCBs in electronics. Our coatings allow printed circuit boards to function in water-laden environments, and we work with the biggest consumer electronics and automotive brands.

We are looking for someone to work on-site in Cambridge, MA (with the ability and willingness to travel to the other CMO location and clients as needed) with a background in high-tech manufacturing, Quality Control, CMO management, and Supply Chain management.
What You Will Be Doing As the Manager of Supply Chain/CMO, you will work closely wit leadership to help scale up innovative technologies and collaborate with world-class scientists and engineers to apply our coating technology.
- Lead translation of unit operations for manufacturing coatings from lab-scale to contract manufacturer
- Interface between the contract manufacturer and our technical team to scale-up new coating platforms
- Establish processes for raw material sourcing, production planning and scheduling, and order fulfillment
- Maintain and/or establish Quality control processes at CMOs to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders
- Troubleshooting quality issues/customer feedback, resolving customer complaints with corrective action plans promptly
- Continual improvement projects to support year-over-year increased product demand.
- Status updates of new scale-up initiatives, customer support initiatives, and continual improvement initiatives, internally and with CMOs
- Mentor interns, co-ops, and junior technical staff on the execution of various manufacturing initiatives
- Analyze the robustness of the quality control testing system using SPC techniques to ensure repeatability and reproducibility of the tests
- Utilize knowledge of quality tools like DOE, 8D, FMEA, PPAP, and SPC to support manufacturing and technical teams.
- Design and conduct experiments, data consolidation, and perform analytical procedures
What You Need for this Position Qualifications:
- BS Degree in a technical field with MBA
- Supply Chain and CMO management
- QC Process and Continuous Improvement
- Raw Materials to Delivery, On-Time International Shipments, and Supply Restock/Inventory
- SDS, IMDS, MSDS
- High-Tech manufacturing/supply chain environment (coatings, chemicals, electronics, etc.)
- Manufacturing Process Engineering, Quality Control, Supplier Management, Supply Chain Management, and management of CMOs
- 25% Travel
