Description: Our client is currently seeking a Sr. Manager of BI/Reporting

The Senior Manager Business Intelligence is responsible for business reporting & analytics in support of all functional groups throughout the organization. This includes the physical elements of data warehouse, the ETL/data modeling process, and dashboards as well as the intangible elements of data integrity and maturity of both predictive and prescriptive analytics. The BI Manager aligns with the business to understand, recommend, and deliver accurate and insightful dashboards and reports, effectively managing & leveraging Business Intelligence resources, including both personnel and foundational tools.

The salary range for this position is 140,000.00 - 170,00.00.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Manage and leverage internal & outsourced resources to maintain & mature BI architecture, including Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, and Tableau.
• Maintain current portfolio of Cognos/other reporting deliverables to organization.
• Align with business stakeholders to understand their reporting/data needs, both current and future opportunities for insights & analysis.
• Matures analytics through the effective design & development of dynamic dashboards.
• Collaborate with BA/PM team to successfully prioritize and manage BI project portfolio based on business outcomes and value.
• Hosts monthly BI Steering Committee meetings, curating cross-functional participants to collaborate on BI program strategies.
• Configures and administers all data replication/middleware tools, i.e., Qlik Replicate, Scribe.
• Create business cases for recommended BI initiatives..
• Manage BI operational costs/budget, including staffing, external resources, vendor contracts and tool maintenance.
• Design and implement short and long-term strategic plans to ensure BI capacity meets existing and future requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for BI administration.
• Effectively contribute to and collaborate with IT Leadership team through weekly VP staff meetings and iterative/daily interactions.
• Inspire, mentor and manage a talented BI team to grow their skillsets and advance their career goals.

Job Experience/Skills:

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in BI, analytics, data engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience managing teams.
• Strong verbal/written communication skills. Must be able to explain technical concepts and communicate clearly to a diverse audience including senior executives.
• High level understanding of cloud/on-premises hybrid IT landscape.
