*Project Description:*




* This team services new capabilities for Client. Candidates need to be technically inclined, have the ability to work closely with their teammates, take general direction, deal with ambiguity, and be a self-starter.



*Position Summary/Job Description:*




* Development work generally consists of about 40% frontend work, 40% backend work, and 20% ops/infrastructure.

* Non-development time is spent in fairly standard Agile ceremonies: iteration planning, retrospectives, product demos and design sessions.

*What are the top five skills and number of years of experience required to perform this job:*




* Must have 10+ years of relevant systems software engineering experience

* BS/MS in computer science or engineering, or equivalent professional experience

* Experience with large-scale distributed systems and web-oriented architectures

* Experience documenting, designing and developing RESTful APIs

* Development experience with JavaScript and at least one related framework, such as React (Preferred), Angular, etc. - 10 + years



*What are some preferred/nice to have skills the manager is looking for:*




* Experience with React Native

* Experience with NodeJS

* Experience with TypeScript or another typed language

* Experience with JavaScript testing tools such as Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, or Enzyme

* SOA and microservice architecture design

* Experience in the use of containers and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)

* Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g. GCP, AWS, Azure, etc.)

* Test Driven Development (TDD)

* Experience and/or understanding of IoT
