Job Description Summary
Reporting to the Senior Director, Global FP&A, the Senior Financial Analyst will be a key member of the Global FP&A team. This role will be responsible for ownership of reporting and analysis related to the value capture of key global efficiency initiatives. They will also assist with the Company's general financial planning and reporting activities, which include the monthly reporting of key enterprise information, supporting the annual operating budget process and quarterly forecasting process and developing ad hoc analyses. In addition, the Senior Financial Analyst will help responsible for supporting the development of a Global FP&A Center of Excellence (CoE) focused on standardization and harmonization of financial reporting and planning across the organization.

JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Senior Director, Global FP&A, the Senior Financial Analyst will be a key member of the Global FP&A team. This role will be responsible for ownership of reporting and analysis related to the value capture of key global efficiency initiatives. They will also assist with the Company's general financial planning and reporting activities, which include the monthly reporting of key enterprise information, supporting the annual operating budget process and quarterly forecasting process and developing ad hoc analyses. In addition, the Senior Financial Analyst will help responsible for supporting the development of a Global FP&A Center of Excellence (CoE) focused on standardization and harmonization of financial reporting and planning across the organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborating with FP&A and Accounting teams to validate and report the Cash and P&L impact of strategic global efficiency initiatives; working to ensure the company is on track to achieve ROI targets
  • Working with internal stakeholders to maintain and ensure the accuracy of the project's financial forecasts
  • Utilizing tools (mainly Microsoft Excel and Smartsheet) to consolidate financial impact for all project workstreams and provide concise reporting for executive and regional leadership teams
  • Providing insightful analysis of business results to customer teams and perform ad-hoc analyses that lead to problem solving and business improving recommendations
  • Reporting and analysis including periodic reporting, periodic forecast analysis and deck preparation
  • Revenue forecasting, planning and tracking
  • Supporting strategic plan and AOP development, including deck analysis and deck preparation
  • Assisting a broad range of senior leaders in forecasting and analysis
  • Serve as an FP&A contact for various financial systems projects including Hyperion Planning and Hyperion Essbase software
  • Work with cross-functional teams to manage P&L expectations

REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Education and/or Experience):
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance plus 3-7 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with forecasting and budgeting, financial modeling
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions and processes
  • Results oriented with the ability to complete assignments in a timely manner
  • Proficient in HFM, Hyperion Planning and Hyperion Essbase software, Smartsheet, Alteryx, PowerBI, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to quickly learn various in-house software applications
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and excellent work ethic
  • Detailed oriented, strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work with a sense of urgency
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively both individually and as a team
