SAFETY:

· Position is responsible for catching core as it exits the spreader.

· Positions must have ability to perform repetitive motions.

· Exposure to moving gears, belts, drives, etc.

· Hands or other body parts cannot be placed near moving equipment unless the machine is shut off, the power shut off at the power disconnect, the power disconnect tagged and LOTO by each employee on the machine.

· PPE required - hearing protection / foamed lined eye protection, rubber mitts /gloves

· Avoid direct eye contact with laser lights.

· Ability to lift minimum of 50 lbs.

QUALITY:

· Position must ensure the proper grade of core is used for the panel construction of the order.

· Responsible for reporting manufacturing defects, while maintaining production with minimal defects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· High School Diploma or GED.

· Entry Level Computer Skills

· Ability to plan and perform unusual / difficult work and make decisions involving the use of considerable ingenuity.

· Requires regular work with lightweight materials and occasional work with average weight materials.

· Position must concentrate mental and visual attention while closely planning and laying out complete work.

Successful candidates must be able to work in various jobs which can include rotating to different job duties. These job duties could include various machine operators, handling material, grading material, quality checks, clean up, and other similar manufacturing activities. This position requires you to follow written and verbal job instructions. Being able to provide feedback and apply critical thinking are other keys to this position. Employees must be able to use personal safety equipment while working in a manufacturing environment that includes moving machinery, fast paced fork lift traffic, machine noise, and a work environment that will vary depending on the time of the year.
