This is a role well suited for a highly motivated student looking to build their skill set and gain hands-on experience. As a SPECT Physics Intern, you will be responsible for :

• You will conduct laboratory experiments to test detector properties
• You will perform complex data analysis of detector data using python, MATLAB, or ROOT.
• You will develop physics simulations with Geant4 or GATE and validate the results on real SPECT systems.

This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to develop your skills with Healthineers:

• You have strong interest in experimental physics and medical imaging
• You have good computer programming skills
• You have laboratory research experience in medical imaging or nuclear/particle physics

Required skills and education to have for the success of this role

• Currently enrolled in a Master's or PhD degree program, majoring in physics, biomedical engineering or related field
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (preferred)
• You have some background and have attended courses in medical imaging
• You have some background and have attended courses in radiation physics

Start Date: Summer 2024
