Position Job Summary:
The Specialized Services Representative will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the Specialized Service department, including but not limited to reinstatement, voluntary surrender, invoicing, rebate cancellation, and other specialized service processes. The Specialized Service Administrator will work closely with different departments to ensure the successful delivery of services and provide exceptional support to our customers and clients.


Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Specialized Service department in handling inbound phone calls providing customer service excellence to all our customers.
  • Responsible for reviewing, processing, and documenting customer inquiries including follow-up outbound calls if needed.
  • Responsible for processing, documenting, and scanning customer documents such as but not limited to rebates, insurance checks, deceased, and SCRA information.
  • Ensure updates are received and placed on customer accounts.
  • Ensure all inquiries are handled and documented properly, including updating status codes and APF fields.
  • Communicate and collaborate with clients to address any inquiries or concerns related to specialized servicing.
  • Ensures compliance with state laws regarding the right to cure (RTC), Strict Compliance Letter (SCL), Soldiers and Sailors Credit Protection (SSCRA), and any Bankruptcy protection requirements.
  • This position involves regular access to specified personal information of consumers, including, but not limited to, Social Security numbers and dates of birth.

Experience

  • Two (2) years of Auto Collection experience preferred

Education

  • High School diploma and/or GED.

Skills Required

  • Language Skills- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Mathematical Skills- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Reasoning Ability- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Computer Skills- To perform this job successfully, an individual should know MS Excel software, MS Word software, and MS Access software.
  • Other Skills and Abilities- Knowledge of and in compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and local, state, and federal collection laws.

Must live within a commutable distance of one of the following cities: Atlanta, GA


Qualifications Preferred:

  • Spanish speaking preferred.

Physical Requirements:
Sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, close vision for computer work, speaking, hearing, lifting, and/or moving up to 10 lbs. Reasonable accommodation will be reviewed upon request.
