Our client is currently seeking a Software Implementation Consultant.

Position Description:
The candidate will be part of the implementation team under the leadership of the Manager of Software Development. The focus of this position is to provide technical systems configuration, implementation and consulting for managing large, automated pharmacies on software technology which includes the full software stack from low-level control of robots and conveyor systems, through controllers and databases, and up to UI and web services at sites across the US. The Implementation Consultant will work closely with the Implementation Project Manager, Hardware Implementation Consultant, customer and vendor resources for the duration of 1-3-month implementation projects, concurrently following the Implementation Project Plan to ensure quality and a timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities include:

1)Is responsible for implementing & supporting software applications for one or more products or areas of software systems.

2)Works on projects that often involve network, server or software implementation and is responsible for implementing & supporting servers, workstations, network, printers etc for one or more products or areas of software systems.

3)Provides implementation support such as installation, calibration, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and training

4)Schedule coordination and management of technical installation resources in multiple disciplines including mechanical installation, electrical and network installation.

5)Collaborate with the customer on the strategy, preparation, and installation of all related software deployments, forms deployments, hardware and peripherals and related configurations within the system.

6)Work closely with vendors and the customer to build, test and deliver interfaces to external 3rd party modules in conjunction with the software system.

7)Execute the certification Process where an Interface or Hardware Component in scope for a customer Implementation is not currently certified

8)Work closely with customer resources to develop, test and implement custom labels and forms for use within the Pharmacy System

9)Provide Label Editor training to customer, when contracted

10)Work with internal teams to ensure the on time build of system environments and internal configurations to support related interfaces, modules and external feeds

11)Develop and facilitate customer training and consulting sessions on peripheral installation, software deployment, configuration, interface support, forms development, and hardware deployment.

12)Provide Go Live support as needed for software, production hardware, interfaces, and forms

13)Create and maintain standard operating procedure documentation for all functions 14)Excellent communication and project management skills.

Critical Skills:

1)Experience in windows servers, windows workstations, and domain administration

2)Networking knowledge, including VPNs and firewall configurations

3)Experience in relational databases (IBM DB2 or SQL Server or Oracle)

4)Familiarity with Agile product development and object-oriented design principles

5)3+ Years' experience as a Software Implementation Consultant including software installs for medium to large-sized technology projects or related demonstrable skills and experience.

6)Ideally the candidate would have handled business-to-business implementations with total contract values of 250k - $10 m. With progressive experience may handle up to $15m dollar in TCV.

7)Proven customer communication skills. Must have the ability to handle and eliminate most project obstacles directly with the customer project team and other internal teams.

8)Facilitation skills are required. The candidate will be required to lead subject meetings, trainings, and consultations both internally and customer-facing

9)Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and customer teams.

10)Knowledge of Web Interfaces, XML/SOAP messaging and HL7 is desired

11)Ability to learn quickly Beneficial Knowledge & Skills

Nice to Haves:

•Prior programming experience is a plus

•Knowledge in multi-threaded and distributed applications

•Experience in Software Development is a plus

•Knowledge of Software Development using C#, C++ (Preferably) Visual C++

Education/Experience preferred:

•Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related discipline

Physical and Travel Requirements:

•General office demands

•Position requires extensive travel and working remotely

•Ability to work in evenings, nights and weekends

•Ability to lift and carry 20-50 pounds

•Ability to work remotely
