DraftKings is seeking to hire a Software Engineering Manager to lead several teams within the Marketing Platform division. The Marketing Platform teams are responsible for the software systems that help acquire new users, and engage with our existing users across the several product verticals that DraftKings operates. This position will be a key leader across several teams, primarily focusing on the systems that determine which users we communicate with, the delivery of those communications, and the mechanisms by which we measure effectiveness of communications.

What you'll do as a Software Engineering Manager:

• You will lead and manage several teams of engineers to support various teams and initiatives.
  
• Establish strong lines of communication with a large and committed set of stakeholders.
  
• Grow the members of your team through career management and feedback.
  
• Drive technical discovery through collaboration with your engineers.
  
• Guide design of your team's software alongside your team members to enable the systems to continue to evolve with business goals.
  
• Drive high software quality by advocating for the correct level of investment in systems.
  
• Participate in recruiting and interviewing.
  

What skills you will use:

• 5+ years of experience working in a full-stack environment at a large scale
  
• Expertise with at least one object-oriented language like C# or Java
  
• Expertise deploying high throughput systems to cloud environments is strongly preferred.
  
• Experience managing teams of engineers working on multiple workstreams is required.
  
• Experience mentoring and managing managers is required.
  
• Experience working with stakeholders and contributing to product definition and vision.
  
• Experience managing or working with remote teams is preferred
  
• Experience with marketing technology is a plus.
