Job Description

Primary Function of Position

We are seeking a summer intern to support the Program Management Office team focused on improving our automation tools for new product development. The intern will:

  • Work with PMO staff to develop scripts and dashboards to support efficient ways to track project deliverables, milestones, and other metrics
  • Develop and test custom scripts, filters, database elements, or applications to support project execution at world class speed.
  • Enable users to extract knowledge for complex data structures and environments with ease and clarity
  • Additional responsibilities may include: documenting software programs, support users of tools and databases; develop training materials related to new tools and processes; support database analytics and reporting metrics; develop algorithms for complex analytics

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support programming scripts and database queries to enable data import and export from Enterprise tools
  • Design analytics and visualization for data to ensure ease of understanding and access to users
  • Test and debug scripts, queries, dashboards, and reports from tools
  • Document tools per Intuitive procedures
  • Support PMO tools team in developing and rollout of new tools and processes to wide range of users

Qualifications

University Hiring Program Eligibility Requirements:

  • University Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled in and returning to an accredited degree-seeking academic program in the Fall.
  • Internship Work Period: Must be available to work part-time (approximately 10-20 hours per week) during a 39 week period starting January 2023 . Specific start dates are shared during the recruiting process.

Skills, Experience, Education, & Training

  • Current enrollment in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or related degree-seeking program at the Master's level
  • Programming skills in Python, Django/Jinga, Java Script, C++, XML, and/or SQL
  • Knowledge of Excel, Sharepoint, MySQL, Apache, JSON, and/or Tableau preferred
  • Great work ethic and an enthusiasm for problem solving, tools, and data analysis.
  • Self-starter and able to work in a collaborative and results oriented environment.
