<b>Job Description:</b><br><br> The Software Asset<br>Management Senior Analyst is an individual contributor role responsible for software license compliance management <br><br>This is facilitated via software usage optimization; including cost-avoidance, risk-avoidance, and increased usage flexibility The person in this role will conduct detailed software usage and contract reviews as part of that optimization.<br>They will also generate audit-readiness reporting and ensure that certification, audit, and usage reports are memorialized Additionally, they will ensure that the discovery tools are performing accurately and timely.<br>Responsibilities include<br>software licensing and inventory management, which requires an extensive understanding of licensing terms/metrics of vendors like Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, OpenText, SAP, VMWare, Splunk, and Adobe.<br>Further, the Software Asset<br>Management Manager will be responsible for managing the strategic partnership between the internal Software Owner and the ESM team, supporting future strategy and demand planning.<br><br><b>Requirement:</b><br><br>This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:<br>REQUIRED<br><br>* 5 years of experience in Software Asset Management (SAM) license compliance management<br><br>* Knowledge and strong understanding of licensing terms\conditions\metrics from Publishers including Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, VMWare, Splunk, OpenText, SAP, and Adobe<br><br>* Experience with highly complex license metrics and calculations<br><br>* Strong knowledge of Software discovery tools i.e (ADDM, SCCM, Altiris, etc.)<br><br>* Strong knowledge of Software management tools i.e (USU/Aspera, Flexera, SNOW, SAMPro)<br><br>* Experience working with software product owners within the spheres of strategic planning and lifecycle management<br><br>HIGHLY DESIRED<br><br>* Experience of supporting SAM functions within large, global organizations<br><br>* Experience in Software Asset Management (SAM) with cloud-based software including PaaS and SaaS framework<br><br>* Exceptional organizational skills and capability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities<br><br>* Extensive knowledge of software maintenance/subscription renewal/true-up/true-down process<br><br>* Advanced analytical skills using Excel and other analysis tools<br><br>* Self-motivated, with excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills<br><br>* Driver-mentality focused on transitioning strategy to implementation<br><br>* Excellent written and verbal communication\presentation skills<br><br>* Ability to break down complex tasks and explain solutions<br><br>* Experience with ServiceNow platform (Service Request, Contract and SAM functions)<br><br>* Experience with USU/Aspera<br>SmartTrack<br><br>* Certifications in Software Asset Management<br><br>* Experience successfully prioritizing work within matrixed management organization<br>#PandoPandoLogic.
