Responsibilities

• As a Senior Principal SW Developer for the GMD Weapon System (GWS) Architecture and Delivery (A&D) SPA SIM team, you will work in a collaborative environment on internal model framework development, internal tactical to model conversion, supporting application development and translation of coding languages for modernization efforts.
• On occasion you will work to support deliverable documentation of the models developed after performing a verification and validation effort.

Qualifications:

• Active Secret Clearance and U.S. Citizenship.
• Bachelor's Degree in related STEM field and a minimum 10 years of related experience, not to exceed 14 Years. Or a Master's degree in a related STEM field and a minimum 8 years of related experience, not to exceed 12 years.
• Recent and proficient experience in C++, GoLang, Cython, Bash, Javascript, SQL, MongoDB
• Recent Experience in GMD GS/GWS Model Development
• Recent Experience in developing code in a Dev Ops environment using Bitbucket or GitHub
• Recent Experience in an Agile environment
• Recent Experience in both Windows and Unix OS environments
• Must be able to support an in-person / closed-area work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Computer Science Bachelor's Degree
• Experience with Ada, MATLAB, Rust
• Experience with Integrated Risk Management
• Experience with requirements development/collaboration
• Exposure to Stimulation and Simulation Software
